Technical Dry Goods | Deckwell Module and Siemens PLC EtherNETIP Bus Communication Steps

Today, Xiaode introduced how to use Dirkwell EtherNetIP bus module to communicate with Siemens PLC in TIA Portal software.

3 Install library files

open TIA Portal V17, select "Library" and "Open Global Library", as shown in the figure.

the installation is successful as shown in the figure.

4. Add data blocks

drag and drop the library file into the program block to form an FB block.

drag the FB block into the OB block.

A data block is then generated.

then create a new data block.

create these two data types.

set the slave IP address.

fill in the slave equipment parameters.

note: The equipment parameters can be found in the EDS file provided by the manufacturer.

View slave input and output addresses in this data type

fill in DB1 data

finally compiled and downloaded to the PLC.
