1. Introduction of stereo garage


1.1 Summary 


The problem of vehicles parking nowhere is the result of the development of the city's society, economy, and transportation to a certain extent. The development of three-dimensional parking equipment abroad, especially in Japan, has a history of nearly 30 to 40 years, both technically and empirically. China also began to research and develop mechanical three-dimensional parking equipment in the early 1990s, which was nearly 20 years ago. Since the ratio of residents to parking spaces in many newly-built residential areas is 1:1, to solve the contradiction between the occupied area of parking spaces and the commercial area of residents, mechanical three-dimensional parking equipment has been accepted by the majority of users because of its unique characteristics of small average bicycle occupied area.

 
1.2 Advantages of Stereo Garage


Compared with the underground garage, the three-dimensional garage can more effectively ensure the safety of people and vehicles. People in the garage or the car are not allowed to stop, and the entire equipment controlled by the electronic control will not operate. It should be said that the mechanical garage can be completely diverted from the management of people and vehicles. In the underground garage, the use of mechanical storage also can be exempted from heating and ventilation facilities, therefore, the power consumption in operation is much lower than in the underground garage managed by workers. The mechanical garage generally does not make a complete set of systems but is made of a single set. In this way, we can give full play to the advantages of less land and integration into parts, and mechanical parking buildings can be set up randomly in each group or downstairs of residential areas. This is the current shortage of garage areas to solve the problem of parking difficult to provide convenient conditions.

2.1 Stereo Garage Topology

Smart 200 is a Siemens small PLC, starting from firmware V2.4, supporting PROFINET communication, with a maximum of 8 PROFINET slave station devices.
EX-1110 is EX series PROFINET adapter, which can support up to 32 IO modules and PROFINET RT/IRT communication. The EX-2C0S is a 32-channel digital input module (NPN & PNP), which mainly collects digital models such as sensors and travel switches. EX-3208 is an 8-channel relay output module, which mainly outputs and controls intermediate relays or AC contactors to drive lifting motors or translation motors.

3. EX Card IO Module



The IO used in the above case is the EX series distributed IO module, which was released in 2018. Its adapter protocols are diversified and support bus protocols such as EtherCAT, PROFINET, PROFIBUSDP, DeviceNET, CC-Link, CC-LinkIEF Basic, Modbus RTU, Ethernet/IP, etc. The expandable IO modules in the adapter include digital input/output, analog input/output, thermocouple/thermal resistance, etc.
