 Recently, the research institute Canalys released the global smart personal audio market report for the third quarter of 2023. It shows that in this quarter, the global shipments of smart personal audio products reached 110 million units. Due to the continuous penetration in the mass market, TWS headphones already account for 73% of the total shipments. At the same time, with more affordable prices, TWS headphones continue to penetrate the mid-to-low-end market and gain more market share. 


 With the maturity of technologies such as Bluetooth, chips, and sensors, TWS headphones will accelerate their development and are expected to become the fastest-growing field of smart wearable devices. It is predicted that the global market size will reach 40.13 billion U.S. dollars in 2024.




  • TWS assembly and testing production line industry technology


TWS earphones mainly consist of a charging case part and a wireless earphone part. The charging case includes components such as a lithium-battery pack, a power PCB (Printed Circuit Board) assembly, a battery-management IC (Integrated Circuit), and an LED (Light - Emitting Diode) charging - indicator module. 


The wireless earphone part includes chips (such as Bluetooth chips and power-management chips), sensors (such as acceleration sensors and proximity sensors), batteries, microphones, and other electronic components.

Master Station: Omron NX series; Applicable Process Sections: Magnet loading, Earphone - cabin pressure - maintenance; Project I/O Configuration: 25 EX remote I/O units per single production line, 6000 digital signal points; Project Overview: This project is a TWS assembly and testing production line. In the whole production line, our company uses 20 pieces (EX1100) + 400 pieces (DI & DO) of EX modules. They mainly undertake the signal collection and control during the assembly and testing processes of the whole production line, replacing the original Omron remote IO solution; Application Advantages: It has greatly saved costs and improved the stability of on-site signal transmission.
